How many open world games do you finish? How many open world games do you finish that were fun all the way through? How much of your experience is fun scripted events and make your own fun? How much is just filler?
I just recently finished Shadow of Mordor. It’s the first game I’d beaten in a long time.
Filling your open world is essential, but that doesn’t mean you need to do all of it. That’s kind of the whole draw for those type of games. “We’ve packed our game completely full. You do what you want. Enjoy”
If there’s stuff you’re not interested in, then pass it by. One man’s filler is another man’s free time killer.
Yeah but it’s also completely full of junk. Why do you want robots making your game? Even the stuff that isn’t randomly generated is often the same thing to pad out the length of the game. No one ever makes a 10 hour open world game.
Warp speed, engage!
Did you try it yet, Das? The update installed itself while I was playing Broken Age last night.
