With console games becoming less popular and mobile games becoming more popular, it makes me wonder if future generations will no longer be interested in playing video games. Other forms of entertainment could take their place as the The Next Big Thing. Steam has invigorated PC games and video games overall, but the issue of having to upgrade PC specs every 4-5 years will always be there as an obstacle to people, especially younger kids today and generations to come. VR is an unknown factor. It has potential to evolve video games in the future.
