My dad would love it. He’s watched Edge of Tomorrow, like, four times already!

Ip Man 2 was a disappointment. That trailer was awesome though.

Prometheus sequel Alien: Paradise Lost is now called Alien: Covenant

Synopsis:

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world – whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition

I mean, I guess. Fine, whatever.

But can we get cool ship names like Pillar of Autumn.

It’s going to be rubbish like 99% of comedy sequels.

More specifically, it’s going to repeat the same jokes whilst hoodwinking the camera as if to say “Hey u guyz remember the previous movie when we made that joke you liked and repeated it to your friends ad nauseum? Well here’s that same joke again”.

American humour is so crass and basic, but sometimes they can strike a good gag.

#39

Yep, tbh the first one wasn’t that good either. It was a product of the time it came out. Though I will probably watch it as I do most movies, good or bad. :stuck_out_tongue:

I rarely found American comedy movies funny. There are rare exceptions. Meet the Parents was quite funny. Mrs. Doubtfire was great also. It depends on the actor who is the lead role. That will most certainly make or break the comedic aspect. I’m probably in the minority here, but I never laughed during an Adam Sandler movie. I find the guy unfunny, however, a guy like, say, Jim Carrey, who has a similar “obnoxious and in-your-face” style of comedy, is funny in some movies, such as, Liar Liar.

Liar Liar has its moments.

I’m actually not a fan of comedy myself. It can be great when paired with action or romance, but on its own it’s rarely enough to make a good movie.
