Ooohhh, never knew it was a spin off to begin with
NieR Automata
Like most games, it is more about the journey than the end. At this point, however, I’m guessing it is unlikely that you are willing to invest 30-70 hours into a 360/PS3 game.
My PS2 and PS3 will still be getting lots of play time in the years ahead. I play by my own time. I’ve been meaning to play Nier. I downloaded the Nier Automata demo last night, but haven’t played it yet. I’ll post an impression after I’ve completed it.
I played the demo, and it was decent. I wasn’t crazy about the combat because the slashing felt slow, however, I did enjoy the shooting. The masses of red orb projectiles being hurled in my direction made it feel like a bullet hell shooter, and I’ve heard that the first Nier game is similar. I like the world and story. The environment in the demo was a industrial area; there were lots of warehouses, crates, and sentient cranes. The English voice acting is not very good. I prefer the Japanese voices.
