That’s totally understandable. For some reason I thought you only played the 4th one. I’m not sure how I would feel after trying all of them out. The reason why I didn’t play Untold (still) was because I needed some break after 4. Etrian Mystery Dungeon is action orientated, so that one I could still play without feeling that way. Right now I have Untold 2 on pre-oder but I obviously won’t be able to play it before Untold 1.

Having a new 3DS XL really does enhance the gameplay experience, coming from the OG version. I’m not sure if the regular N3DS would also have the same impact. I’m not sure if you would feel satisfied enough with the upgrade. Didn’t you get the 3DS XL version before?

Yeah, I have the OG and XL, but I think the New 3DS is worth the upgrade for the vastly improved 3D and load times. I want to get the regular New 3DS, instead of the New XL, this time. It’s the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. Customized face plates too.

In his review for the game Owen said that it was a game no-one would hate and that no-one would love. I would go slightly further and say that it was a title that no-one would want to play twice. This isn’t something that anyone should say of a game with Sid Meier in the title.

It’s funny that a game that’ll probably be hailed as getting open world right got it so wrong. Looking back, it’s very baby’s first OW.

I actually tried playing it a second time and there simply isn’t enough content, variety or complexity for me to bother.
