That red dashed line is new too.
Discussion and feedback about Discourse
Ok so new font will work when you increase the kerning between letters. Too bunched up right now.
And I feel like the red dashed lines are a step backwards.
Oh and the font used when you quote something is nasty.
Can I get screen shots? My guess it could be browser + platform differences. Iâm not sold on anything yet so your feedback matters.
The red dotted border was a quick change since I didnât like the existing highlight style. Not a fan either.
Sorry I was wrong on the quote font sort of.
It uses a weird font when you quote a hyperlink I think.
With the kerning issue Iâll have to screenie it laters.
I dig the new font. I donât like the dotted line highlight, but nor did I like the orange style. In fact, I donât think any sort of highlight style is necessary for a new post or whatever. Itâs a hindrance to the eyes.
Ok Chaps in addition to my complaint about the font (I really think you should stick to a Helvetica based font, this one is too bunched up and curvy) Iâve noticed that when I copy-paste text from elsewhere, it estimates carriage returns where you normally see them on your screen, rather than treat the copied text as one long string.

Doesnât have anything to do with the font really, and I wasnât able to replicate it.
I would have liked a screenshot, as not being able to see the issue really doesnât help me.
Use a userscript or style override script.
Do you not like the font? Can you elaborate what you donât like about it?
I have the same issue as Laboured when copying text from Firefox/Waterfox in Windows/OSX/Linux. It seems to be working fine with Safari, but why would anyone use that? Are you using Google Chrome, chapel?
You just changed it again, right? I think I might be okay with this one if the font size were smaller.
Can I get some screenshots of what it looks like to you all? As well as what the problems are.
But whatâs wrong with it. If you want me to make changes I need constructive feedback that is detailed enough to work with.
I use Chrome yes. I have tried Firefox but cannot reproduce any issues youâve seen. If you have them again, link me to the site youâre copying from and I can try it myself.
Iâve intentionally made it bigger. Though I do agree it is too big.
12px is too smallâŚ
